My spiritual home is the Northwest and I have now lived in Cheshire for over 3 years. For over 10 years I have worked for pladis Global, known for making McVities, Jacobs, Ulker and Godiva Products; specialising in Procurement Governance and Technology. I believe that my professional skills, alongside my keen personal interest will add value to BHA's Pupils, Parents and Staff. I also wish to represent the local community to ensure strong ties between the school and the surrounding area.

Governor Area of Responsibility: Stakeholder engagement

I joined Boughton Heath Academy in 2018 as a student teacher and was lucky enough to be offered a teaching post upon completion of my degree. I am currently the Year 3 teacher and have a passion for inclusion within the classroom. I firmly believe that a good education can make a real difference to our children’s lives and their ability to make the most of the opportunities that life presents to them. Additionally, I have a particular interest in attachment disorders and this is something I wish to learn more about and develop a deeper understanding of over the next few years.

I chose to become a governor in order to understand why and how changes are made and to be a part of the school’s ongoing progression. I hope that my input ensures that the children’s needs and education continue to come first, guiding the school into a direction that best suits us whilst making the most of each opportunity.
